Las Vegas northWest suburbs
Northwest suburbs of Las Vegas are
represented by location. Any jurisdiction, city, community, or
neighborhood that is west of Interstate 15 and north of U.S. Hwy 95
is considered to be in Northwest Las Vegas.
Likewise, nearby Boulder City is
considered a significant part of the area, thus it is listed as a
part of Las Vegas.
This area is primarily residential.
It is also one of the fastest growing areas in Las Vegas. Strip
malls are banned in certain parts of this region and there are
special zoning regulations that allow owners to keep horses on their
property. You will find many people in this area of Las Vegas have
larger lots to accommodate for this. You will also find many
horseback riding stables available for those who can't afford to
keep a horse with them.

Business
- The New Town Center is
an exciting shopping center that is accessible off Ann Road. This
center can be accessed in both directions by U.S. Hwy 95.
- The Tech Center is
located near hospitals and several smaller doctors clinics. This
is one of the more popular places to find residents.
Regional Health Care
- MountainView Hospital
located at 3140 N. Tenaya near the Cheyenne exit from U.S. Hwy 95, has
just announced plans to expand their hospital. They are focusing
primarily on designing a more extensive cardiac unit. Thirty-six
additional beds will be added. The reason for the expansion is due
to the swelling population of growing Northwest Las Vegas. The
hospital has been running to their full capacity for the past few
months or longer. The need for a better hospital is apparent and MountainView is stepping up to the plate for patients and
residents of this suburban community.
- Summerlin Hospital is
obviously located in the community of Summerlin. More specifically
it is located on Town Center in The Crossing Village. Residents of
Summerlin have easy access to this state of the art Medical
Center. If you are in need of a referral or have any other
questions about Summerlin Hospital please call:
702-388-4888.
