Pahrump, Nevada. Listed as one of the fastest growing rural unincorporated towns in the United States, Pahrump is located in the southwest corner of Nye County. It is 50 miles west of the south end of Las Vegas and 60 miles east of Death Valley. Surrounding Pahrump are the Spring Mountains to the East and the Nopah Mountains to the West.

The Pahrump Valley is located in Nye County, which is the largest county in Nevada and the third largest county in the nation.

Pahrump is home to a successful area school district that offers an educational home to many of the areas smaller communities.
